Last weekend was such a rollercoaster of rumors for the Black Eyed Peas and their fans.
On Saturday it was sort of revealed the group’s female vocalist, Fergie, had left the band after performing with them for about 15 years.
According to Sunday Morning Herald the rumor mill began swirling last month when Fergie left Interscope records to pursue her own deal with BMG, with the intention of releasing a follow up to 2006’s The Dutchess.
During all this the Black Eyed Peas were recruited to perform at the One Love Manchester concert which Fergie had been widely expected to appear at, but she was replaced by Ariana Grande for the performance.
And according to Will.I.Am, Ariana Grande stepped in for Fergie during the Black Eyed Peas performance at One Love Manchester.
Now with Black Eyed Peas’ fans com both Fergie and will.i.am denied her removal from the band. Will.i.am tweeted “Lies… Fergie is focusing on Double Dutchess & BEP is doing Masters Of The Sun… That doesn’t mean Fergie is out of the group #BEP4ever.”
