Nickelodeon has announced plans to start working on a brand new original movie ‘’Inside Voice’’ starring Jace Norman (Henry Danger), Jojo Siwa ( JOJO Siwa: My World, Dance Moms) and Daniella Perkins (Knight Squad). Its production is ongoing in Vancouver, Canada and it is set to premiere in 2018.
The movie follows a nice young boy Jeremy Martin (Norman) who after putting mysterious virtual reality [VR] glasses at a mall, suddenly loses his ‘Inside Voice’ and starts spouting every thought he has out loud.
Making matters worse, Jeremy is running for Student Council President against his classmate Milly (Perkins), who is full of great ideas to improve the school. Desperate to get back to normal, Jeremy and his sister Victoria (Siwa) must figure out how to convince his brain that he can speak up for himself.
The VR sequence featured in the movie are being developed by Nickelodeon’ Entertainment Lab.
Jojo Siwa could not hold her excitement about her first role in a Nickelodeon movie; “So much fun filming my first movie with jace!!💕 CANT WAIT FOR YOU GUYS TO SEE IT!!!” so she wrote on her Instagram post.
Jace Norman stars in Nickelodeon’s Henry Danger, which is most watched TV showed by kids across the world. He’ll also serve as a co-producer on Inside Voice.
Jojo Siwa has an overall talent deal with Nickelodeon and Global Consumer Products program and will star in her own TV special, JoJo Siwa: My World, airing at 8pm August 12 on Nickelodeon.
Perkins will begin production later this year in her new Nickelodeon series Knight Squad at a magical school for Knights in training.
Inside Voice was written by Adrian Vina for Liar Liar Vampire and is directed by Michelle Johnson for Another Cinderella Story: If the shoe Fits.
